Holy School!

What a week!!!
I had my first week of classes at a German university. It's not soooo much different from home. I'm taking 2 German grammar classes, one German communication/conversation class, Art History, and a class about Native American history art and culture. The Native American class is in English and only has 6 people in the class! My art history class is....I don't really know, because I can't understand 1/2 of it! I really need to bone up on my German biblical terms to interpret the art! ahh!
My German classes are actually really fun. All of my professors are very nice and funny.
Here's the best news from class this week: NO BOOKS!!!!! That's right! None of my professors are having us buy books! A couple asked for 2 euro from each person for copy money, and I will have to print out the occasional chapter, but how great!

I've also started work. I'm pretty sure I have the greatest job ever. It can definitely be overwhelming at times, but for the most part it's so fantastic. I'm making really decent money, which makes living much easier!!! I think the downside to my job is that when I work, I don't get home until around 4:30am!
My boss and coworkers are great. My boss has helped me out a TON. He wrote a letter to the immigration office saying that I would make enough money to live here (long story, but in short, there are WAY too many laws in Germany). He also gave me a phone! He had an old cell phone at his house, so he's letting me borrow it this year.
Pretty sure I'm super lucky!

What else, what else? I had kickboxing class tonight. So hard! It really kicked my butt!
The weather is starting to get quite chilly here!

Can't believe I live in Germany! Can't believe I've been here over a month!
